QAHN to host a Heritage Show and Tell Online

Published on January 20, 2021

Ten communities, ten great projects, from portable exhibits to smart-phone walking tours: Here's your chance to meet heritage leaders from across Quebec who are finding novel ways to share and preserve their local history in spite of pandemic closures.

Looking for inspiring learning activities? Join the Quebec Anglophone Heritage Network (QAHN) on Tuesday February 9 from 1:30 pm to 2:45 pm as they welcome member groups taking part in the Belonging and Identity project, a QAHN initiative being undertaken this year in partnership with the Secretariat for relations with English-speaking Quebecers (SRQEA).

The program includes presentations from: Colby-Curtis Museum; Hemmingford Archives; Richmond County Historical Society; Heritage New Carlisle; the Council for Anglophone Magdalen Islanders; Cantley 1889; Société d’histoire du Canton d’Orford; Lennoxville-Ascot Historical and Museum Society; the English Community Organization of Lanaudière; and Missiquoui Historical Society.

You can watch the live event via QAHN's Facebook page: here
